Limit of 12 students. Deadline for sign up is April 19. The price will increase 10.00 after this date. No day of 1st class payments can be accepted. You must pay in advance to secure a spot.
CANCELATION POLICY: Any cancellation made before the class begins, will be honored and refunded. No refund or CREDIT will be issued AFTER session has begun or for classes missed.
We will learn about concepts and techniques, such as shading, draw what they see from draw alongs or still life objects or looking at a picture. Techniques will be demonstrated in mixed media, watercolors, oil pastels and acrylics also. With one session dedicated to art history, exploring one famous artist and their style of art work with a opportunity to do a project in that style.
My goal is to make them aware of how to use different tools, find their own style via the exploration of many varying styles, and ultimately gain confidence in their work. Some of the concepts are very advanced but I find the kids respond to this and their skills tend to increase quite rapidly and with amazing results.
Directions:The location is at 201 English Village, in the London Bridge Resort. Before going over the bridge turn left into the London Bridge Parking lot. Park in the upper or lower lots. Walk towards the channel, past pool and slide. Walk up the ramp to the second floor. The entrance faces the bridge on the corner.
